Why is the value of XRP sent different than the value received?
Money in your BRD XRP wallet is always held as XRP, and the value in your local currency is displayed as an estimate only. The exchange rate used to make this estimate is always fluctuating, and depending on when a transaction is sent or received the estimated value of the transaction can change. It is common for the estimated value of a transaction to be seen differently by the sender and receiver, however the amount of XRP sent should not change.
NOTE: If the first transaction you sent to your BRD app is 20XRP or less, the transaction will be rejected by the XRP Ledger. This is because the XRP Ledger requires a base reserve of 20XRP for each address. This amount cannot be sent out to another address on the network.
